紀念學會成立五十周年【追逐光影五十載】攝影大賽徵稿通知
三藩市華藝攝影學會成立于1967年，在紀念華藝攝影學會成立五十周年之際，華藝攝影學會董事會策劃在學會範圍內舉辦【追逐光影五十載】攝影大賽。
一. 本次攝影大賽僅限本會會員參與（接納在截稿之前入會新會員投稿參賽），不接納任何外界人士參加，華藝攝影學會有權取消不合大賽規則的作品及參賽者的參賽權利。
二. 參賽作品必須是由膠片或者是數碼相機電子元件感光所得影像，或者是應用智能手機或者平板電腦拍攝的影像。 參賽者必須保證所有提交的作品任何部份為本人原創，參賽作品以數碼檔JPG形式電郵至指定的郵箱。 參賽者須同意主辦方將其參賽作品的部分或全部免費用於華藝攝影網、微信群、及各種媒體展示宣傳，華藝攝影學會不承擔任何版權責任。
三. 比賽組別： 1.記實組 2. 藝術(畫意)組 3.手機攝影組（包括平板電腦）
1. 記實組：參賽作品不設主題，任何題材和體裁的攝影作品（彩色或者單色）均可參賽，參賽作品必須內容真實，作品僅可做亮度、對比度、色彩飽和度的適度調整、不變型的裁剪，不得移除任何元素，不得添雲加霧、改天換地、增加元素合成， 不得大幅度提高改變色彩等電腦技術處理。 電腦創意或者對原始的影像作大改變的作品請勿參加記實類組別，凡投稿參賽作品入選獲獎時必須提供原始拍攝影像數碼檔驗證，如果不符合上述要求的作品一律取消入選獲獎資格。
2. 藝術組(畫意組)：參賽作品不設主題，任何題材和體裁的攝影作品（彩色或者單色）均可參賽，參賽作品可以通過電子技術或是其它手段進行修攺，也可以通過傳統暗房或者電腦PS進行圖像合成等藝術加工， 接受改天換地添雲加霧增加元素合成，但是參賽作品的攝影成分必須佔據主導地位，合成作品的影像素材均為參賽者原創。
3. 手機攝影組（包括平板電腦）：參賽作品不設主題，任何題材和體裁的攝影作品均可參賽，手機攝影類參賽作品必須是智能手機或者平板電腦所拍攝的影像，作品可以通過手機應用軟件修改圖像合成等藝術加工，但不能上傳至電腦用電腦軟件例如Lightroom, Photoshop等進行修圖加工。 投稿參賽作品入選獲獎時必須提供原始拍攝影像數碼檔驗證，不符合上述要求的作品一律取消入選獲獎資格。
四. 參賽須知:
1. 過去已經參賽入選過本會主辦的歷屆展覽、各類專題比賽、月賽入選獲獎的作品 ，不得參加本屆大賽。
2. 同一幅作品只能參加一個組別，不能重複投稿。
3. 智慧手機和平板電腦拍攝的作品可以參加記實類和藝術(畫意)類，相機拍攝的膠卷或者數碼照片不得參加手機攝影類。
4. 每位會員每組投稿作品不超過4幅，僅限提交數碼作品檔 (JPG)。
5. 作品規格：參賽作品使用JPG格式，sRGB色彩空間。 作品長邊不超過5400像數（18吋），短邊不少於1800像數（6吋），300DPI。 作品檔大不超過10MB，不小於2MB，手機作品短邊不少於1080像數，長邊不限，檔不小於1MB。
6. 每幅參賽作品的文件檔名稱必須統一格式: 作者姓名(中或英文）- 作品標題.JPG
例如: 鄭向陽-霧鎖金門.JPG 或者 Henry Jang-Mono Lake Sunset.JPG
注意: 不按此格式命名的作品或者沒有標題的作品一律取消參賽資格!
7. 投稿郵箱網址：參賽分組上傳至不同組別的郵箱地址。
記實組：cps.amateur@gmail.com（原月賽公開組郵箱）

手機組：cps.phonephoto@gmail.com
五. 獎項設置：各組別分設以下獎項：（同 一個組別之中金、銀、銅牌獲獎作者不得重複，每位獲獎者只能獲得一枚獎牌。 ）
各組別設獎：華藝五十周年紀念金牌 各2枚
各組別設獎：華藝五十周年紀念銀牌 各4枚
各組別設獎：華藝五十周年紀念銅牌 各6枚
各組別設獎：佳作獎各20名華藝五十周年紀念證書
六. 排程：
截稿日期：2017年10月22日
作品評選：2017年10月29日
評選委員：由華藝董事會邀請會外國際著名攝影家、北加州 N4C攝影會著名攝影家組成評審團公開評選。

CPS 50 YEARS PURSUIT OF LIGHT AND SHADOW
GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY PHOTO CONTEST
SPONSORED BY CHINATOWN PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY
Chinatown Photographic Society (CPS) was founded in 1967. To commemorate its 50th anniversary the Board of Directors is sponsoring a photo contest for its members.
I. SCOPE:
Limited for fully paid members only. We welcome new members to join before deadline of October 15, 2017. We do not accept entries from the public. Chinatown Photographic Society reserves the right to disqualify entrie(s) and persons if they do not follow the rules of the photo contest.
II. ENTRIES:
Images must be derived from film or digital media such as camera, smartphone or tablets. Contestants must assure their entries are their own original work. We accept only digital images via email, CD, USB-card, portable Hard Drive. Contestants agree to allow CPS to use their entries free of charge for promotions in its website, WeChat or other news media. CPS is not responsible for the copyright of the entries.
III. CATEGORIES:
1. Documentary 2. Pictorial 3. Smartphone (including Tablets)
1. Documentary: No special theme or format is required. (Color or black and white acceptable.) Content must be real and true to subject matter. Only brightness, contrast and color are allowed to enhance the picture. No distorted composition is allowed. No adding of clouds, changing of the sky and landscape, adding of photo elements, exaggeration of color or computer manipulation. Computer generated graphics and grossly changed subjects are requested not to enter this category. All winning entries are required to send the original image file for verification. If the entry does not comply with the above requirement it will be disqualified.
2. Pictorial: No specific theme or format is required. (Color or black and white acceptable). Entries can be computer manipulated or by traditional darkroom techniques or suing PS to create new composition. You can add clouds, change the sky and the landscape as desired. But, the elements of photography must be the predominant theme. All original composites by contestants are acceptable.
3. Smartphone (including Tablets): No special them or format is required. Entries must be taken from Smart phones or Tablets and they can be improved only by Smartphone Apps for composition and artistic enhancement and composites. Winning entries must send original file for verification. Entries that do not comply with this requirement will be disqualified.
IV. RULES:
1. No winning pictures from the past CPS salons, special topics, monthly and bimonthly competitions would be admitted to this photo contest.
2. Only one category can be entered for the same picture.
3. Smartphone pictures can enter documentary and pictorial category. No film or digital camera pictures can enter Smartphone Category.
4. Each member can submit 4 pictures for each category. We accept only digital files.
5. File Format: must be JPG format, sRGB color space , wide not more than 5400 ppi (18 inches), high not less than 1800 ppi (6 inches), 300 dpi, file size: Max 10 MB and not less than 2 MB. For smart phone file size: short side not less than 1080 ppi and no limit for long side. File size should not be less than 1 MB.
6. Each entry must have author name in Chinese or English and title. File name must follow the exact file naming convention: Author Name-Title.JPG
Example: Henry Jang-Mono Lake.JPG
NOTE: We will disqualify any entry that do not follow this file naming convention or
missing any title!

Judging: October 29, 2017
Judging committee will be comprised of internationally recognized photographers and judges from N4C. Judging is open to the public. Final decision shall be the responsibility of Chinatown Photographic Society.
